Medpedia Launches

Heard on the street: A new social/wiki-esque site for patients and healthcare professionals has launched. It's called Medpedia, and it's one to watch.
A quick perusal shows the site will feature information for HCPs, condition-specific communicites, and a "plain English medical encyclopedia " (yay!) It sounds pretty academic. According to their Web site:

In association with Harvard Medical School, Stanford School of Medicine, Berkeley School of Public Health, University of Michigan Medical School and other leading global health organizations, Medpedia will be a commons for the gathering of the information and people critical to health care.
